Today I visited Walton Ranch, the only truly operating cattle ranch left in Jackson, Wyoming. Over the next couple of weeks, 400 calves will be born, and I will be there to see it all. Here is a newborn, literally seconds old, checking out his world while mom cleans him. Little April Fool.

really, "see it all...?" 400!?! i bet you've got your shots say, maybe after the 37th calf birth.
so are you going to cover the branding, dehorning and gonad removals too. eek!

Looks messy ... er, I mean fun. Actually I'd love to see this. Maybe not 400 times, but definitely once. I bet it's amazing!
